Family Commitments

      Comments Off on Family Commitments

– To a schedule
– To a cause
– To a job
– To an ideal
– To a relationship
– To a lifestyle

To a family

– To the end result
– To the details
– To the process

To the family

– To freedom
– To equality
– To independence
– To creativity

To family

(Did I mention family?)

Will likely lead to commitment…

…To an asylum.

My dad is visiting for the fifth (fifth!) time in as many months. Pardon me while I tear my hair out.

Tequila, anyone?

Really? ‘Cause I dig Bailey’s. Especially with coffee. So if ‘any time’ is a truism, NOW would be good…

Then again, it’s probably not a good idea to start drinking before noon.

Twelve hours to go (which means twelve hours til *he* goes)…

          (Insert much-put-upon sigh here.)

I love my dad, but I prefer to love him from afar. 😛

Ditto. Three thousand miles is usually a bigger deterrent, but lately Pop’s job has sent him in my direction fairly frequently. Gah!

My parents are both gone. My sibs and I get along by agreeing to disagree, about everything including the weather. Our arguments are settled by giving the last word to whoever lives the longest.

I’m trying to get started on a blog here. I’m not used to the format, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.

I don’t see my siblings very often, Wild. Which is why we’re all still alive, I think. There is and abundance of claw sharpening and fang baring at family events, so weddings and funerals are always a blast. Or rather, someone is always getting blasted. *Snort*

I emailed your ‘normal’ address, but I’m not sure if you got it. I can send you a few hints that way if you’d like. The biggest thing you have to do here (on wordpress) if you want your posts to get read is tag them effectively. And the whole Dashboard thing takes some getting used to, I know. I spent an hour on the phone with Bang walking her through it one day. Arch too, but he must have gotten distracted by some grazing antelope and gone off to crunch their bones or something (he’s quite adamantly a carnivore), because he hasn’t written anything online in ages.

I had a point. Lol. If you want help…

Ask and ye shall receive. 😉
