If you want a lover…

…I’ll do anything you ask me to.

I searched quite a while to find Hallelujah and the man who sung it only to rediscover while watching Shrek.

I do like Leonard Cohen. Neil Diamond covered Susanne back in the 70s.

I’ve got “I’m your man” on a CD somewhere (with Hallelujah and Susanne).

It is quite a declaration. And it takes someone pretty amazing to see it through.

Nothing melts me quite like a lover who is willing to give himself over to my desires, to share in them, to sate them, and to drive – and derive – them anew. “Pleasure” doesn’t begin to cover it. πŸ™‚

Well. It’s a beautiful ideal, if not a sustainable reality.

I think that’s one of the reasons I like this song. He says “I’m your man” but admits to being – occasionally, or perhaps in the past, in all the moments leading up to this moment – not so great at it.
