      I find haiku quite difficult to write properly, so I appreciate your appreciation. (There’s a lot more to it than 5-7-5!) It’s a challenging form.

      That’s a 5-3-5 inverted (“American”) syllabic construction. But there’s no seasonal reflection or senryu-style humanism. So… Almost. 🙂

      Haiku – following the actual rules of writing a haiku – is much more complicated than people think.
