diptych of woman driving boat with wake behind

(Nope, not that kind.)

I have been vacationing.

Recreation-ing.

A-wake-ning.

Why ‘blue’ is associated with depression, I will never understand.

The only thing depressing about *this* blue…

…is having to leave it behind.

Sinful Sunday

I read a lovely thing about how we should always return to water when we feel blue, whether a bath, a swim, the sea, as it’ll always calm our soul. I kinda agree, great pics!

I’m familiar with the Isak Dinesen quote: The cure for anything is salt water — sweat, tears, or the sea.

      I’m a water baby. (Figuratively and literally ~ I’m a Pisces. 😉 )

I left my saltwater island for a vacation in clearwater glacial blue, so the ‘salt’ portion may not be necessary, but I definitely connect with the sentiment. 🙂
