*This* is a sticky post. (Keep comments about the stickiness of *your* post to yourself, please.) It was the first post I wrote on this blog space and it’s a permanent fixture on my home page for two reasons: (1) It clearly outlines my rules (please read them if you haven’t already), and (2) It helps a very specific group of people find me.
Genesis, Exodus, Commandments, Etc.
The Genesis of this blog came about due to my Exodus in 2012 from the blog hub hosted by an adult site where my spouse and I once had a profile.
One thing I learned from my experience there is that internet anonymity is one of the leading causes of asshole-ery in otherwise normal people.
So when I mosied like Moses, I decided to set a few guidelines. My own personal 10 Commandments, kinda. Except there’s not ten, only three. And they’re not commandments, exactly. Just a few rules, that clearly outline my expectations. (Which should be common sense. But common sense is becoming more and more uncommon in the internet age.)
So without further ado…
THE RULES
1. I am a PERSON. Not an OBJECT. Treat me as such.
2. While I’m usually pretty fun-loving and don’t take things too seriously, I am still a REAL PERSON with REAL FEELINGS. Interact with me as such.
3. Do not make the assumption, based on the topics I discuss here, that I am ‘available’. I am not. I am MARRIED to a REAL PERSON with REAL FEELINGS. Respect us as such.
Also, don’t steal stuff.
These rules apply to ALL interactions and exchanges, including but not limited to blog comments, emails, and other bitland conversations. Anyone who feels they cannot follow these rules is free to leave at any time. Deliberate ignorance of these rules will result in banishment from the Land of Fever.
And in the spirit of Genesis and Exodus, as mentioned above: Mrs. Fever has spoken. So it has been written; so it shall be done. 😉
Rules can be fun…
…So can consequences… 😉
I think you & I are going to get along just fine…
Your blog is simply devine!
Thank you and welcome!
You get me hard as a rock hahaha
Gosh where can I get a mold for you and create a legion of fever
ahem that just didn’t come out right.
I digress 🙂
Well, I wasn’t really expecting that kind of reaction from this particular post, but military men *do* tend to enjoy RULES, so I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised. As for the the state of your rocks… They wouldn’t be called rocks if they we’re soft, so ‘hard as a rock’ is a bit redundant.
And if you were granted a legion of Fever (which you won’t be; they broke the mold when they made me), I’m afraid you’d have a terrible time keeping your troops in line. In fact, I’d say it would be akin to herding cats. (Insert pussy joke here.)
Welcome, Marine. 😉
Whoa you are an excellent writer. I shared a link to ya
😉
Be Cool
You Rock (Damn your funny lol)

Oh and stop calling me that
I am human again 😉 Just cooler
So we’re back to the rocks again, I see… 😉
I was thinking along the lines of begetting 😉
Spudsy! My only begotten potato! 🙂 Thank you for visiting! Hope you’ll come again…
And again…
😉
We think the Fever’s are Awesome and Beautiful. Why? Because we said so! http://thedomnextdoor.wordpress.com/2012/07/31/were-pink-leather-unicorn-awesome-twice/
Uhhh…
Thanks?
I’ll get back to you when I’m finished rehearsing my acceptance speech.
Maybe.
😉
Now following. I enjoyed a quick voyer around and enjoyed your writing and your pics. Both very creative.
Where in MI did you grow up?
Welcome! Glad you like what you see. As for your question: What makes you think I ever grew up? 😉
Well played. I’ve met my match.
You’re welcome. I like what I’ve seen so far. Keep up the creative work.
Mmmmmmm How at you?
ps I left there for good now 😉
Yeah, I’m gone for good too, chica. What’s new?
Well, at least You only have 3 commandments 🙂
On the contrary. (My spouse has been known to jokingly refer to me as “Commander” because I can be a bit…erm…bossy…) I have a whole repertoire of “commandments”. Rules, on the other hand, are another thing entirely. 😉
How fun your blog is. I love the tone. I’m afaid I don’t do light very well, but you do.
Thank you! Hope you’ll come back and visit. 🙂
Enjoyed your blog….I’ll be back…:)
xx
Sooz
Looking forward to it. 😉
Love your blog haha you do humor mixed with fuckery very well Mrs. Looking forward to reading your stuff 🙂
Thanks! 😀
No problem I’m still learning how to control this app from my phone but love reading others sexy submissions and hopefully people like my rambling exhalations too glad you found me !
I have also been meaning to say….cute front picture, pov and all that. I love this blog but it will take me a while to grasp all its ins and outs. If that makes any sense. You have at least had a go at categorising it….sigh. I need to do that too. Anyway, have a great day! Actually that sounds stupid. But I would like you to anyway.
Thanks. 🙂
Uhmmm… BTW, like OMG! You said ‘POV’. Lol. 😛
There’s not much that needs to be grasped about the ins and outs. I try to use tags that make some sort of obvious sense, but my categories probably don’t make sense to anyone but me. I changed them recently because… Well, because. So now my husband has his own category (see: Mi Esposo Fabuloso), as does the menagerie (see: Pets). And I despise the ‘Uncategorized’ category. So I changed it (and that category only contains one post, because my brain was too frazzled to do anything else with it last night) to ‘Which one of these is not like the other(s)?
Anywhoo…
I have a category cloud and a tag cloud on my home page in the right hand column. I also have three menu lists on that side: Popular Posts (the ones people ‘Like’ the most), Recent Ramblings (easy access to the most current posts), and Uncommon Commentary (the posts that have received the most comments).
I know I often feel like a fish out of water trying to navigate other people’s sites, so if you decide to give mine a go, I hope that information helps. And if you want to know anything specific, or are looking for a particular topic, just let me know. I’ll help you find it…
If I can remember what I did with it. 😉
Sooooo…
Welcome! And it doesn’t sound stupid. You may rest assured that I will, indeed, have a fantabulous day. I’m going bowling! 😀
well, thank you….and bowling! I do hope it went well!
This post, hum, makes me wonder whether I should write a similar one of my own. I’m somewhat questioning my decision to create a blog of my own. Oh well, all that aside, I just wanted to tell you that you have a wonderful blog and way with words. I’ll be back :D.
Thank you. Best of luck in your blogging adventures. 🙂

Welcome! Glad you like. 🙂
I lke your rules. The internet does tend to lend itself to abuses in those areas.
Thank you. They work for me. 🙂

Interesting blog. Thanks for dropping checking out my work.
Likewise.
What can I say? This blog is amazing! I love reading about your life… and your humor keeps me laughing! Here’s an award for you… http://dominajen.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/shine-on-award/
You are so sexy and funny. Love it here….and thanks for coming back to me as well….I always thought of it as an 18+ actually…so I smiled when you said so….anyway, hi.
Hello, you. 🙂
Gulp…hi 🙂
Tag! You’re It. Pass it on or simply enjoy it as a bouquet of flowers. This award thing takes hours and I know you just got the Dragon Award. I had to finally take the plunge and accept one properly so I could share bloggers like you. I don’t really like sharing you but I will. You have plenty to share!! Jayne

Heh. That made me smile.
Thanks for the shout out, Jayne.
I was practicing good behavior. : )
You had me at ‘Welcum’. P x x x
Loved the Welcum. Everything perfectly said.
Thanks! I believe in clearly communicating expectations. 🙂
Good idea. Have a wonderful evening.
Thank you! 🙂
I love this and rules. 🙂 Mine is a PG website but I still talk about sex in a vanilla kind of way. Looking forward to reading more.
Welcome, and thanks! 🙂
Wondered why I was getting notified of blog posts like do with Wild’s posts, double checked and it wasn’t showing ‘followed’ so my bad, but rectified it, hope all is well.
Hi! Nice to see you. 🙂
Hopefully the nitifications are fixed now. Let me know if it goes wonky again.
Mm I like the thought put into this blog. I kind of identify with not being submissive but absolutely love being spanked. I would say I am head of the house in every way but do have this spanking thing, so it is refreshing to read of a real different species which I would imagine is far more nearer the normal in a marriage. Thank you for your writing.
We all have to find our own way(s) in life, love, and relationships.
Thanks for visiting.
This is new?
Nope. This post has been on my home page from the day I opened my blog.
I must have been taking the scenic route to get to your writings all this time.
To be true, I have not come across one blog where women put themselves out and does so with such grace! I loved your “sticky” post, it gave me a glimpse into what I can expect from you and what I should give in return… don’t take me wrong, I really think you are brave and fun person, you are one blog I’ll follow even if you do not follow back! You give me the feeling that you are a person who has “come alive” and is brave enough to let others experience a bit of what life can be! Okay enough , m gonna go read a post or two 🙂 Have fun writing 🙂
Thank you! Happy reading. 🙂
Yours is one of the “Go to” sites for me on this blog. I like the way you think and express yourself. Thank You for that.

Thank you, Chazz. 🙂
I stumbled across your blog and I am compelled to leave some blog-graffiti…er…a comment to establish that I was here. Ok, so I didn’t NEED to leave my mark but since I am a blog-tagger. Wait, I was going to write something brilliant but my age and my screwed up brain has seemed fit to vacate my consciousness of all vestiges of reason and sanity.
Oh yeah…your blog and why I am here…I love the concept (which isn’t too dissimilar from some other folks’ blogs) that you have though I am not bright and shiny enough to articulate what I am gleaning from your writings that has truly prompted me to comment.
Now that I have thoroughly and quite successfully achieved nothing, here I am and I am here. I will be reading and commenting on occasion. With all due respect and gratitude to you and your husband for sharing your carefully selected thoughts, ideas and activities, I will be reading and enjoying.
Welcome, and enjoy! 🙂
Thank you! Glad to be here! 😉
Awesome are the eyes of pain, I like to participate in the quietness of pain, it’s pleasant afterwards as this subsidies.
I’m not big on pain, but I get why its addictive for people.
Thanks for visiting.
Very glad to have found this blog. I will have to come back more 🙂

Just discovered your blog and am really enjoying your writing style as well as your frank discussion of menopause, a topic that is really given short shrift pretty much everywhere.
Welcome, and thanks — I agree, re: short shrift. I think it’s an important thing to be open about.
Your rules are pretty simple and straightforward. I will try to follow them. It is a pity that I did not start reading your blog with them. I like your honest and cheerful disposition. Thank you for being there.
This blog radiates positivity and encouragement. Always a pleasure to read!
Are you okay?
I am. I still have family stuff going on and I’ve had other un-fun things happening over the past several months, so I haven’t been around much. But I’m ok. Thanks for asking.
