That’s how the memory of summer feels.
I can’t wait to shed the layers imposed by these monochrome winter days
and once more seek the heat of summer delights.

Hmmmm yes, summer!
Great pic!!
February always feels unbearably long to me, even though it’s the shortest month of the year. It’s the final stretch of dreary days, and I miss the sunshine something fierce.
It’s been 70° here (Cal) the last 2 days, lovely windows-open weather.
However, in June it’s often overcast, cold & windy, go figure
I wish I could say the same. (I can say the same about it being overcast in June. But that’s not what I mean.)
Usually March is when we see our first break in the cloud cover. I’m looking forward to the first signs of spring.
This winter even here in Fl we are eagerly awaiting the return of spring.

For many years now, I have lived where near-constant rain is the norm. It gets to me. I need more sunshine in my life, and more often.
This is a great photo! I love the edit!
Thanks. I used the ‘abstract outlines’ and ‘monochrome’ filters in Lunapic.
Love the edit of this image ❤

Thanks. I like how it turned out. 🙂
Feve, I’m totally with you on it !
Right?!
While my winter isn’t near what you are use to, I am over it. I always say I’m solar powered. I need the sun to function. 🙂
Missed your words,

Hello, you. 🙂
I think the rainy season affects me more/differently now than it used to. I need heat and warmth and light in my life. Its absence has become palpable over the past few years. Maybe it’s my age. (And maybe it’s time for a change.)
It’s nice to hear from you. I hope you are well.
