Winter White

I had in mind the lyrics:

Over the ground lies a mantle of white…

But the chilly-reality factor of Winter Wonderland is one I’d rather avoid, thank you. I prefer to be as warm as possible on these recent cold winter nights. So the only snowy whiteness here is in the form of warm bubbly bath water. πŸ™‚

If it is currently cold where you live, I hope you are finding warmth — whether alone or together with the one(s) you love — during this holiday season.

Sinful Sunday

I had to endure the cold today to watch the DQ play rugby… I had to resort to a hot bath when I got home because the cold was COLD. I am totally with you on avoiding the cold if at all possible

So I tried to Google that, because DQ? Rugby? Whaaa…?

I kept getting results for a Dairy Queen (DQ) restaurant in Rugby, North Dakota.

      : laugh :

But the hot bath after a cold foray into the outdoors: that, I get. πŸ˜‰

Speaking of “Winter Wonderland,” a few weeks ago I read that the Bangles tune “Merry Christmas is now 39 years old. And when it came out, the Bing Crosby tune “White Christmas” was 38 years old.

This means the Bangles tune is now a “classic” for our generation the way Bing’s tune was a classic for our parents.

That’s all. You may now go about your business.

Hmmm… If you only have to be in your late 30s to be considered a classic, what does that make those of us who are past that? I mean, I must be a “classic plus” at the very least. πŸ˜›

I am so with you on the cold but it is a factor here in the north. I wrap up warm and have a hot bath every night before bed so I can relate to what you are saying. You look lovely in your bubbles 😊

I don’t know how I missed this when first posted, but I’m sure glad I saw it in your margin today! Well…….maybe ‘glad’ is the wrong word. In my current state this picture is a bit torturous……but maybe still glad in that it’s definitely worth the groan! LOL
