Taken on a sunny summer day, on a whim when I ran inside for more water, and sent with a smile to someone special.
I don’t so much ‘tan’ as turn a darker shade of white, but I love the feel of sun on my (easily burned, overly freckled) skin nonetheless, and can’t wait for summer ~ with all its warmth and heat and juxtaposed cool-water promise and peace ~ to return.

Love the colors! And the subtle suggestion of this photo. I too simply turn a darker shade of white (or just) burn, but I still live to be in the sun and can’t wait for spring.
