view of woman's legs, upturned laying face down, clad in argyle socks

An outtake from my March adventures in argyle, a session which also netted the inspiration for the beginning of my A-to-Z Challenge this year.

I think the concept works, but the execution – in this case – doesn’t really. The sunlight makes my feet look weird, the monochrome browns are too blended, the dresser looks like it’s at a wobbly angle…

Lots of reasons why this one doesn’t quite make it. And yet, for ‘outtake’, it does. πŸ™‚

Oddly, I am always quite comfortable on floors. Christmas presents are distributed and opened on the floor, I sprawl out on the floor to read, and I’ve been known to nap on the living room floor in front of the fireplace. πŸ™‚

Great socks though and still an interesting image but you are right about the light and dresser. Angles can do weird things in photos

I still like this, despite agreeing and appreciating what you say about the lighting and angles, in a way that’s what still ties it together – the harmonious colours and geometric lines, I also like the floor level viewpoint too. A good outtake despite not what you were aiming for!

I do love a nice pair so cosy, sexy socks. I can see what you mean but we have to play about with those angles to see what works…or not.

Thanks! Those teasing juxtapositions tend to entice me as well, when I see the mix of un/clothed in others’ photos. πŸ™‚
