shadows fall unstraight,
stroking sunlit skin like wisps
of mem’ry,
chiaroscuro silhouettes
reminiscent of a lover’s touch

You are such a delightful wordsmith Feve, and I love the photo, that filter works so well. (I’d kill for your lips)

I did some pretty extreme editing on that photo. I may post the progression at some point in the future; my face, though… I am pretty protective of my privacy. So, we’ll see. 🙂
Love this post! Just beautiful and I am in awe of your bravery too. I completely get the privacy thing…
Thank you.
The photo I used to create this image went through three pretty severe obfuscations before being stylized thus. So… Brave? Maybe. But not reckless. 🙂
The lazy curve of a caress. Wonderful use of image to mirror the poetic intent.
Interesting, my recent reminisces have all been as the giver rather than the receiver. It is a longing of no subtle difference.

Equal in measure and opposite in presentation; two sides of the same coin. 🙂
Interesting abstraction of “reality.” A lovely, subtle beauty to the image. Almost looks child-like. Loved the sparkling eye and half smile. ❤
That twinkle and quirk have been causing (and inviting!) trouble for a number of years. (And will continue to do so for many more, I hope.) 😉
