Simple Gifts

This year has been a blur.

Thanksgiving has come and gone again.

But gratitude is an attitude, not a calendar date.

And this past year, those of you who have come here…

to read, to laugh, to question,
to share
your humor, your stories, your support, your queries, and your perspectives

…THANK YOU for brightening this quirky cloudspace I call Mine.

Time is one of life’s simple gifts.

Thank you for sharing yours with me in 2018.

IMAGE NOTES:ย  In case it’s not obvious…ย  (and for those of you who are interested in photo editing)… The top photo was created by un-uniformly layering the bottom two then utilizing some simple edits.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

If you want to know more — on this or any other photo I’ve posted — about the editing processes I use, please ask.ย  I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I have learned a lot over the past year (mostly by trial and error!) in my experiments with self-portraiture and am happy to share what I know.

AND

Right now, Molly Moore – the sexy self-portraiture queen and host of Sinful Sunday – who *is* an expert, is offering to create some online photography tutorials.ย  So if you have more sophisticated how-to questions, please take her up on her invitation and ask them, here.

I love seeing the three images and what you have done with them. They are all great but I think the third one is my favourite as I like the detail and the vibrancy. missy xx

      Thanks.

I had originally thought to do a different presentation, using diptych or maybe a triptych. But then I started playing, and well… All kinds of unexpected things have been known to happen when I start playing… ๐Ÿ˜‰

This year has flown by in a blur and thank you for being here to make me question my thoughts, in a good way, which in turn allows me to grow.
