The Scarily Sexy Season Is Here

Autumn is upon us!

For many of us in the northern hemisphere, that means bundling up against the chill that bookends the ever-shortening days. (Read: Boot Season, for the fashionably inclined. 😉 ) It means twilight and fog, rainy days and changing leaves, chill damp dew and cold-clear sun; it’s the end of harvest season, and – alongside those gathering-in celebrations – a time of tricky treat-ery.

So in the spirit of Halloween (heh – get it?), I’ve culled a few of my fright-y favorites from the blogs I follow to bring you a selection of scarily sexy stories.

So without further ado, here are some recommended reads for you (titles are linked) this spooktacular season:

The Crow’s Whore by Floss at Floss Does Life

When a witch knows what she wants, she’ll not let a man’s reluctance stand in her way…

When the moment came, she summoned icy hands into being and they held her arms firmly behind her, her head was thrown back with the force of their touch, as icy palms lifted her heart and thrust it into her chest. Her old scars burst open and did not seal shut as they should, skin flapped, as the hole in her chest gaped open, the thump, thump, thump of her heart visible as the crows began the cawing once more as they huddled around her watching as she slumped to the ground a dark slumber washing over her.

…but she’ll win at what price?

Decease To Exist by Jayne Renault — Musings of a Smut Queen

This bit of nonfiction is set in the summertime but revolves around a real-life experience of sex in a cemetery. (Consider that your content warning.) While not scary, this story is incredibly sexy — all the more so for the author’s ability to caress a familiar concept into arousal with short, brilliant turns of phrase.

To wit:

The forged pendant that hung around his neck dangled over my breast while he drank me in with hellfire in his gaze.

And lest I spoil the rest of it for you…

Let’s just say there’s more where that came from and you should read until the last line. (Best seven words ever to end a cemetery story!)

Haunting You by Molly Moore at Molly’s Daily Kiss

I love the darkness of this piece. While not a jealous person myself – it’s not in my nature – the way this reads captivated me with its never-letting-go possessive covetousness, and its threateningly eerie I will… force of language. It’s fearsome and powerful and somehow chest-tightening-ly erotic.

I am going to haunt you when I am gone. You will never be free of me, I can promise you that. I will find a way back here, to this town, to this house, to this room, to you. I will sit with you here, day in and day out and watch you mourn me. I will haunt you when I am gone.

And the photo (taken of and by the author) that accompanies the words?

: shiver :

Together, they conjure an image that’s quite haunting indeed.

Scarecrow by Ella Scandal at Scandarella

Ella Scandal is, in my opinion, the reigning queen of Eerie-otica (I totally just made up that word, but I think you get the gist). She knows how to create a mood and set a scene without getting overly drudged up in the details, and when it comes to fucking… followed by a scary/sexy twist…

Well. What you get is really fucking twisted.

In this scary scarecrow tale, Jonah wants to make his girlfriend scream…

I dropped to the ground, feeling mud sucking at my skin. He grabbed my hands and draped them over the crossbar, arranging me more or less in the same position he’d been in when I’d found him.

My own breaths turned to moisture on my face, mixing with splatters from the heavy rain. Splinters from the rotting wood I clung to dug in, threatening to embed themselves in my skin.

It was gross, but all of me wanted this. My head, my heart, the deepest pit of my stomach and the aching, dripping place between my thighs… every part of me wanted to be fucked…

…and scream she does. Later.

(and probably not in the way you think)

[insert Mwuaaah-haa-ha-ha! evil laugh, here]

Taphophile by Kisungura at My Controlled Ascent

Another story with a twist – albeit a knotted and gnarled one – Taphophile brings the term ‘tree hugger’ to life (and death) in a whole new way.

When an unsuspecting artist meets with bewitchingly sexy magic amidst the trees surrounding the cemetery he is sketching…

Relentlessly, vigorously, furiously she pumped his cock until all he could feel was the tight friction of heat against ice, pleasure sliced with pain and the tightening of his balls as his cum rose thick and fast through his sex. White hot pleasure seared his core as he twisted and contorted in an endless climax. His muscles tightened agonisingly in their sheaths as he bowed and bent.

…Well. Let’s just say that while it may be sappy, it’s not exactly a love story that ensues.

While this post might be slightly unorthodox in its approach, I am linking this edition of Feve’s 5 up to the first ‘haunted’ Halloween-month prompt at the Masturbation Monday site. Oh! I’m so excited to see this again, thank you for adding my gnarly tale to this fab collection, I think I’ll go read it again to remind myself what I was up to a year ago, as well as all the others! 🖤

I love all of these writers, and have likely read the stories at some point. But what a great idea to collect them here and now. I’ll have to go back and give them all another read.
