As may be evident to those of you who have been following my Sinful Sunday photos over the past few weeks, I had some photo fun with jewelry recently. In looking for inspiration for the ‘i’ prompt (the first Sunday of each month, the host of SS offers a prompt), I raided my jewelry box and found inspiration in the various strands of faux pearls (among other things) found there.

I may not be the girliest of girls, but I *do* have a magpie’s eye for shiny things. I have a habit of rescuing lost sparkles and stranded blingy things wherever they may be found. (Quite often they are found on thrifting expeditions, which have been an inaccessible indulgence in recent months.) And jewels – both faux and f’real – always catch my attention.

I wonder if this little jewel has caught yours?

😉

Oh yes, definitely has my attention. I miss thrift shopping at the moment. I am not a big shopper but I love charity shops and finding unusual bits in them. Lots of my clothes come from them but yes sometimes shiny things too
