It was almost to the small of my back; now it covers the nape of my neck *just* brushes the tops of my shoulders.

Thanks! I have a lot of gold tones in my hair naturally, so auburn reds usually work well for me.
This is the first time I’ve colored my hair since 2013.
That is a big change. One thing isn’t clear—did you have someone else cut it, or did you do it yourself? The latter would have required real courage. lol
