Feeling Blue

…in which, my husband actually goes about feeling blue…

I mentioned recently that pajamas are my favorite clothes to wear, yes?

So — because there are just not enough jammies in my life (seriously, my long-worn and much-loved nighttime attire is LACKING; too many pairs have recently gone from the laundry hamper to the trash bin because they’re just plain worn out!), I took myself to the store last weekend to attempt to remedy that.

My shopping trip netted me one {1} super-soft comfy-cozy pair of fleecy blue pajamas, as seen above. (At an out-of-pocket cost of only $6.50, because I am a championship sale shopper and I know how to wield a coupon!)

Super. Soft.

Right?

So I put said jammies on for their first wear and was walking around the house humming with comfy pleasure and generally petting myself (because hello SOFTNESS — you would be all ‘petpetpet’ too!) when my husband was like, “Um, why are you… Feeling… Yourself… UP?”

Me: Oh, am I?
Him: Uhmmm…
Me: It’s my new pajamas. They’re super soft. Wanna feel?

.

At which invitation, he promptly jumped up from his seat…

…and felt

…by running his hands over the fabric.

.

.

.

Specifically, by running his hands over the fabric covering my breasts.

.

Me: Smotch! I didn’t ask you if you wanted to feel me UP!
Him: (still petting) Errr… What?
Me: You’re supposed to be feeling my jammies. See? My new blue jammies?
Him: Oh. Um, I was.
Me: (skeptical) And?
Him: And they feel really good on you!

.

They do indeed…

…and now I have a completely different idea of what it means to be “feeling blue.”
