Tis the season for hearts and flowers and love songs, but when it comes to Valentine’s Day — for me, like the not-a-love-song says — my desires are simple:
I WANT CANDY.
I’m especially fond of Brach’s cinnamon hearts.

But I’m open to other tasty treats as well.

They are like gummy candies, if you have those where you live. But instead of gummy bears, they are gummy hearts and have sugary sprinkles over them. 🙂

And now the beat is stuck in my head. LOL.
I’m not a huge fan of sweet treats… unless they’re scones.. which is what we had today at Afternoon Tea to celebrate V day! It didn’t even occur to me it was a V day date. It wasn’t till we were on the way to the restaurant that I asked BIKSS if this was our Valentines Day ‘celebration’ and he said yes. Well it ain’t my fault, all he said last week was “The office is going to be empty on Monday cos of enforced leave for Chinese New year… wanna have afternoon tea?” And that is how he asked me out for Valentine’s Day 🙂

I’m mostly a salty snacks kind of girl, but I like chocolates (turtles are my favorite, but I like packaged candy bars too) and some of the seasonal candies that are available this time of year. 🙂

Cinnamon hearts and bears are some the best candy, I’m a die-hard cinnamon fan though so it doesn’t take much to sway me. 😉
