Saturday Night Fever: Old-Fashioned

So we’re at the outlet mall, right? (This is an unusual place for us to visit during ‘normal’ times; even more so after 18 months of shut-down-the-world. However, I’m in the mood to shop — I have things I need for work that need to be tried on and are not easily found second-hand — and I’m sick to death of the unexciting/unreliable retail experiences available online.) And I pull out this blue sweatshirt(?) that has little tigers on it and I’m like…

“Is this cute?”

My husband just looks at me.

Looks at the shirt, looks at me.

Looks some more.

“It’s a grandma shirt, isn’t it?” I ask.

“I’m not sure how you want me to answer that,” he says.

“But it’s a cute grandma shirt.”

“Uhmmm…”

“I’m gonna get it.”

“There ya go, hon. Embrace your oldness!”

OLDNESS, schmoldness.

: laugh :

I can be fierce in this shirt! I mean, look:

Heh.

Okay, maybe not.

But there are tigers, m’kay?

And I don’t care that it’s an old lady shirt.

I am newly old-fashioned. 😛

Oh, and for those of you who are wondering what I’m doing dressed in a sweatshirt in August: It’s not warm where I live, remember? The Junuary gloom lasts until after the ‘official’ start of summer and then autumn starts rearing its cloudy, windy, miserable head in mid-August.

SO.

Rar.

: laugh :

What are you wearing, hmmm?

Hmmmm, ok, so the shirt ? The shirt is…..? Um. The shirt looks……….? Hey, it’s a shirt. (I’ve seen worse.) 😉
Now, as to that last shot, and the post you left on my blog? >frowning< I think you mischaracterized your upper and lower digits to appear contrary. 😉 From what I see there's nothing manual that contraindicates the podal. You do not have short toes.
(really liked the shot though. Do you do billboards?)

It’s a perfectly viable shirt. I actually want one now. wait, i have something similar – only it’s navy. and there are no tigers. there ARE white geometric dash-type designs. ok, forget it. there’s nothing similar about it except, um, it has long sleeves too? LOL

    LOVE IT! Rock the tigers!

actually, loving it- I mean it’s comfortable (clearly) – does have DOGS on it- colour is great – embrace it! I’m envious you can wear one – still in the midst of horrific, unrelenting heat here in Ontario.

We had a good 6 weeks of “warm” here in the PNW — a long summer in these parts! — but the autumn cool is moving in. It’s been in the 40s° for overnight temps this week.

I love September where I live. Cool nights, sunny days, comfortable temps. It’s perfect. (Unless we get smoke. Then… Not so much.)

Cool shirt and cool color combination. Blue shirt and blue jeans. White shirt and white tigers. Everything is fine. In vain is your husband being ironic. And the main thing is that you yourself would be comfortable and not annoyed by anything.
