CELEBRATIONS
Shining Some Light & Bringing Some Brightness To Your Holidays
As some of you may (or may not!) know, I have – for the past few years – conducted a post-a-day mini blog-a-thon during the week leading up to Christmas.
The timing of the Christmas holiday (it falls smack dab in the middle of the week, on a Wednesday) paired with the ‘lateness’ of Thanksgiving this year got me thinking… The logistics of a week-long blog-a-thon would not quite work the way I’d like, and a few short days of thankfulness-centered…stuff…in the very short time between Thanksgiving and December 1st just seems not enough somehow, sooo…
Why not extend the time? And why not focus – in a celebratory way – on the people who read here in an inspiration/appreciation fashion? With an emphasis on gratitude (the fact that I’m grateful to my bloggy audience is what started my original holiday post-fest in the first place) and goodwill toward {wo/}men.
As is befitting the season. ๐
SO
What this means for you, dear reader, is that I will be posting with more frequency over the coming month. (It won’t be every day, but fair warning that it will be considerably more than usual — perhaps not as much as the April A-Z Challenge, but likely more than during the September Song Project; you may wish to adjust your notifications.) You can expect to see some {over}sharing, some silly-ness (as is typical), some answers to questions people have posed, and probably a shout-out or seven{teen} along the way.
And since the point is to celebrate the people (and places and things and intangibles) that inspire me, and for which I am appreciative: I will be outlining clearly where said inspiration and appreciation originated from as we go along.
So to recap —
What It Is: a month-long posting event centered around reader appreciation in celebration of the holiday season
When It Will Take Place: November 25 – December 25, 2019
Who It’s For: YOU!
With that in mind: If you happen to have a question you’d like to pose, a topic you’d like to read about, a style of writing you want to see more of, or are just plain curious about something — please leave me a comment or send me and email to let me know. I will try to include it (whatever ‘it’ may be) in the month ahead.
And if you would like to play along on your own blog, you are more than welcome to! Feel free to borrow the badge (or not ~ as you please), leave me a message below so I can come support your positive endeavors, and go ahead: share your inspirations and spread some appreciation and join me for some creative Holiday CELEBRATIONS.
THANK YOU
for being a part of this blog in 2019
It’s time to celebrate YOU!
Feve:
I love your idea, since this is one of my favorite blogs, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with !
PS: I hope you don’t mind, but I made a slight alteration and GIF-IFIED your logo, mostly because I’m an idiot who likes pictures that move. Oh look — it flickers. Duh. ๐

You’re very GIF-ted. ๐
No, I don’t mind at all — thanks for playing along! ๐
Excited to see your words and pictures and what ever else you share x
Thanks May — I am hoping to participate in Food For Thought this round, and I’m keeping your request for fiction in mind. ๐
Excellent –
And regarding F4T – Both Floss and I will look forward to that. There are some future prompts in the F4T sidebar – if that helps ๐

I am looking forward to what you are going to share with us, and if I find the words, want to join in too.

I’d be delighted for you to join me!
As for what I’m going to share — My husband is writing for me; he’s currently working on some answers to some of the questions I’ve gotten, so – amidst the other things I’ve got planned – you’ll be seeing some of “his point of view” on some things throughout this project. ๐
This is a great idea! I’m looking forward to celebrating.
