Saturday Night Fever: Comic Relief

It got hot for a minute, my friends.

Like that whole “Temperature’s Rising” thing really happened. The temperatures rose to over 90 degrees where I live and then to over 115 where I vacationed.

So instead of donning my usual sleepwear (which runs to ‘warm and fuzzy’ even in the summer months) during the mini heat wave, I briefly (get it?) traded out long sleeves and long pants for tank tops and undies.

Or: {w}undies, as above. 😉

I have a small collection of superhero stuff — T-shirts mostly, but also underpants; they’re like my own personal grown-up Underoos — and I’ve gotta say…

Wearing them as a way of staying cool in the heat gives whole new meaning to the term ‘comic relief’.
