43 for 23: 43 Writing Ideas for Blogging in 2023

I am a person who, while typically not at a loss for writing ideas, sometimes requires additional impetus to “put it out there.” The spark of an idea may (or may not be) enough to get me hammering at the keyboard, but having something concrete to which I can anchor that idea somehow encourages me to frame out the house in which it lives and set it out — whether shabbily constructed or elegantly gabled — on these grounds I call my blog.

And it seems to me that I may not be the only person whose meandering muse may need to be lured back to the neighborhood. So to speak.

(Or to question why there is a light on in the attic.)

So I have created a list of 43 ideas that may bear exploration in 2023. And I am posting them here for you to see (I will link relevant posts in-text when they happen throughout the year), because {a} I think sharing one’s process in a reading/writing community that shares similar interests is valuable, and {b} some of you might find something write-worthy on this list too. (Please share your link if you do!)

Why 43?

Because while there are 52 weeks in a year, I am typically focused on the A-to-Z Challenge in April and I intend to continue with my annual September Song Project. So if I give myself 43, then that is the remaining number of weeks in which I could potentially post… If I can manage to post once a week, anyway.

I make no promises.

BUT

I *do* make lists!

: laugh :

So without further ado, here is my list of 43 writing ideas for blogging in 2023:

I couldn’t begin to think of anything you haven’t covered except… music. Listening, of course, but playing it in some way. The mood and muse of it. Just saying and Happy New Year!

I am only planning to publish my words on my NSFW onlyfans though.

You are most welcome to use it! I’m not 100% sure how OnlyFans works but you can leave links to your prompt responses in the comments section if you’d like (if that’s even a thing).

What a great idea and I have bookmarked this post to see if I distill inspiration from some of the ideas you have put forth here. Looking forward to engaging more with your posts and the September Song project sounds intriguing. Shall look into it once the AtoZ madness is over.

Such a comprehensive list of ideas you have here. I, too, have numerous ideas, but time management is the skill I need to learn to put every idea on to my blog.
Thank you for visiting my blog.

this is a great idea – I too tend to shoot my blogging load in April and maybe manage a few road trip post before languishing for the rest of the year. I did do something similar at New Year on Tsundoku – all the books you have yet to read on your book shelves…

Ohh I love this. It is basically why I created Revelations to do the same kind of thing for myself. I may pop some of your ideas into my spreadsheet for that if you are OK with that?
