His step forward is a long slide, covering the distance from doorway to mattress — the mattress where I am sprawled on bare sheets, hand shoved down sleep shorts, sloe-eyed and fuck-ready — in a single stride.

His sleepy glazed unfocus becomes sharp even as his motions are blurred — quick, deft, adept — and his hands join mine.

Pretty sensuous rendering. I think that Rosa and I somehow missed this breathless and almost cinematic passion train on our life journey, both being more like two hungry truckers attacking a sandwich when fooling around. I guess sometimes we are a little more ‘artsy’ about it, but Rosa is always joking about how she can’t be like most others when it comes to romance. Oddly, as the ‘guy’, I am actually better at it, but mostly because I approach it as a role. I think it’s why we don’t like to watch sex scenes in movies. LOL
